Planpac were engaged to prepare ‘Concept Plans’ including a full site master plan for a new multipurpose National Aviation Training Academy to be located within Precinct 10 of Nadzab Central at Nadzab Airport.
Precinct 10 has an approximate land area of 12.3 Ha and is to include facilities for NAC, Air Services, CASA, RFF&E, Aviation Security and Business Management with integrated training facilities.
Design & presentation packages were developed for this Nadzab Central project to provide the Concept Design for the integrated training facilities.
The works for the proposed Training Academy included developing a full masterplan of the school campus incorporating the four individual schools and their associated facilities, central site facilities, site maintenance, public sporting facilities as well as a 160 room accommodation precinct expandable to 224 rooms, a 32 room staff accommodation precinct and a gated 8 residence staff housing estate.
