As Managing Director of the Planpac Group, Damien leads the team in Australia and Papua New Guinea with his extensive knowledge and management skills on a range of projects and disciplines. Prior to Planpac, Damien was the former office manager and project coordinator of Plante and Associates Architects. Over 18+ years of design, construction management, and project management expertise has enabled Damien to work on projects with a construction value in excess of AUD $200 million. Damien has received major commercial development commissions for Townsville City Council, Townsville Port Authority, Townsville Airport (CASA), Jupiter’s Limited, Tabcorp and various private development companies. Local construction experience has been essential in Damien’s career to develop economic design solutions and practical sustainable detailing. He provides outstanding and long lasting results that complement and work harmoniously with the built environment. As the nominated project lead, Damien is actively involved in all phases of projects working closely with clients, stakeholders and the project teams to ensure the project is delivered successfully while maintaining the highest of professional standards.

Stephanie manages the day-to-day operations of the finance and human resource department at Planpac Group. Her role is integral to ensure the smooth running of the company. 

Anthony is based in our Townsville office, providing quality project management services to both our Australian and  PNG client base.  With 10 years’ experience within the design and construction industry, Anthony has been involved in numerous residential, industrial, hospitality and commercial projects, delivering the projects on time, within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.  During this time with Planpac Anthony has developed an in-depth understanding of the various design, documentation & quality management processes, and leading or assisting with both project & construction management.  His varied competent ability allows him to apply his skills to Planpac’s diverse project portfolio and continues to develop within the industry.

With over 13 years experience in the administration section, Kathryne brings extensive knowledge and overall administration management to the Planpac team within Papua New Guinea.  Kathryn has completed both a Bachelors in Business (Information Technology) and a Masters in Business Administration (Leadership). Kathryn's key focus will be providing her expertise to both project and business operations.

Trade qualified construction industry professional with Australian and International experience across a broad range of construction and operational projects ranging from residential to commercial and industrial, with experience in post construction services and ongoing maintenance and repairs gives Matthew excellent knowledge of full construction life of asset requirements.  Experience in site management including quality, health and safety and environment management systems. Adept at the training, workload coordination and supervision of apprentices and tradesmen. Matthews’s proven ability to maintain communication with project managers and stakeholders to work collaboratively together towards the successful outcome of projects has benefitted our past and present clients immensely.  Matthew’s pleasant and professional attitude benefits his ability to mediate onsite issues and problem solve in any construction environment in various geographical locations.

Pius is an experienced project officer with demonstrated experience on a variety of projects across PNG including residential, commercial and public use developments. Pius is a qualified civil engineer, registered with IEPNG and has undertaken additional education in Port Moresby. Pius is an integral member of our project management team.  

Ellie started her studies in Townsville, Australia with a Bachelor of Town Planning before joining the Planpac team. Ellie has diverse experience working with both large scale residential and commercial developments, where she specialises in statistical analysis and interpretation. Her project portfolio includes a number of local, urban and subject development plans in several PNG provinces. Ellie brings enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to the skills of the town planning team. She is passionate about cultural heritage protection and strategic tourism initiatives. Encouraging economic prosperity and social cohesion through developing and delivering constructive urban designs is Ellie’s passion. Her key skills include land use planning, consultation and community engagement, sustainable tourism development and sustainable resource use.

Patrick is based in our Port Moresby office and has over 12 years experience in the building and construction industry.  Patrick has managed various construction crews on large scale projects throughout Port Moresby including training, workload coordination and supervision of apprentices and tradesmen.  Patrick is one of Planpac's lead project managers, highly skilled in managing all aspects of quality, health and safety and environment management.  Patrick is currently furthering his studies and has commenced a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management.

Chris has over 26 years of Building Design and Documentation experience in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Prior to joining Planpac in 2005, Chris graduated from the Canberra Institute of Technology in 1995 and worked in Canberra for nearly 10 years thereafter. He is also the recipient of several Student Design Awards. Chris gained experience in the design and documentation of many projects ranging from residential, institutional, commercial and Government from Concept Phase through to the Construction. During this time, he also gained experience in project management work on several schools and National buildings in the ACT.

Chris brings architectural, contract documentation and project management experience to the Planpac team. Since joining Planpac, Chris has worked on a diverse range of projects both locally and internationally including international aid funded projects, health centers, sporting venues, master planning and multi-story commercial buildings. Recently Chris has undertaken further studies, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Building Design with Distinction from CQ University. Chris is also educated in sustainability and energy efficiency certification. This has enabled Chris to expand his knowledge in creating a sustainable built environment.

Damien Condo is proficient in Archicad and well versed in the Australian building codes and standards. He has extensive experience as an architectural draftsperson working on high-end custom residential projects. His in-depth knowledge of design and construction and his attention to detail ensure his drawings are both accurate and finished within the required timeframe.  Condo is adept at managing multiple projects and his excellent communication skill ensures effective liaison with consultants, planning agencies, and clients.

Sophie brings a wealth of administrative experience from local councils and business to the Planpac team. Her knowledge and focus on IT systems, in particular our practice management software, is essential in ensuring effective operations. Sophie liaises closely with our PNG team to assist in managing the software program and overseeing that data is accurate and current, thus enabling effective reporting to guide the company.  

Being our first point of call in the PNG Planpac office, Sharmila displays exceptional customer service skills .  Sharmila is a multitasker, assisting the Administration Manager daily and is gaining valuable knowledge in new software and administration processes.

With over 12 years experience in the planning industry, Laura has been actively involved in a number of master planning, health care, residential and commercial projects - both locally and internationally. During this period she has developed vast expertise in concept design and documentation for several complex and large scale projects within time and budget constraints. With an emphasis on delivering quality contract documentation, Laura has a passionate and deep understanding of issues pertaining to design and planning. Her skill set includes monitoring project processes and developing communication between team members and stakeholders. Laura has exceptional attention to detail and an appreciation of team dynamics, which has enabled her to seamlessly transfer her knowledge to projects.  Laura’s particular area of interest lays in front end design of mixed use, hospitality, commercial, multi residential & high-end fit-out projects.
