Motukea PNG

Planpac Group was engaged to provide master planning and preliminary design services for the development of Curtain Bros PNG Head Office and operational base at Motukea Island. Motukea Island is some twelve kilometres from the Port Moresby Central Business District. The island is a 106 hectare commercial property that is under continuing development.

Current operational facilities include steel fabrication, a dockyard (Papua New Guinea Dockyard, with a 5000 tonne capacity slipway) and a number of wharves, including twin Panamax berths that each have a quayline of 212m and a water depth of 13m LAT.
